About Me and My Approach

Hi!

This is Mine. I’m a psychologist with over 18 years of experience and a deep love for this work. I hold a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology and have been supporting expats for more than 14 years. In 2019, I also became an expat myself, and since then, I’ve been living and working in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where I founded my own practice: Mosaic Psychology

How I work

I offer in-person sessions at my cozy office in the heart of the city, just behind Vrijthof, and I also work online when that feels more accessible. I work exclusively with adults and provide therapy in English and Turkish.

Training

My professional training is rooted in behavioural therapies. During my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, I received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and it was there that I was first introduced to mindfulness — an approach that continues to inform my work today.

I later completed advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the International Schema Therapy Certification Training with Dr. Alp Karaosmanoğlu. While my foundation is firmly grounded in behavioural therapies, my therapeutic style is eclectic and flexible, shaped by the needs of each individual rather than a single framework.

As a person

I would describe myself as open-minded and humanistic. Authenticity matters deeply to me, both in how I show up as a therapist and as a human being. While I maintain a relaxed and approachable presence in sessions, I am unwavering when it comes to professional ethics and creating a safe, respectful space.

Creativity is also an important part of who I am. I studied classical piano for four years at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, and singing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have sung in choirs, performed as a lead singer in cover bands, and taken on a leading role in a musical production. Creativity continues to nourish my personal life and subtly enriches my work — helping me stay curious, attuned, and open.

If you’re curious about working together or have questions before taking the next step, you’re very welcome to reach out.

Wishing us all, a meaningful life,

Cheers,

Mine Hasırcı (she/her)
